Baby Leg
This novella was originally serialized, which makes the bound version feel a bit disjointed. That aside, this is definitely an Evenson-esque story, though perhaps not as visceral as most of his stuff.Baby Leg is a great book for established fans, but definitely should not be the first for someone new to Evenson. For that, I say go with Last Days or The Wavering Knife.
